2. How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main Product And Ancillary Texts?

I have tried to create synergy between my media texts. Linking them together using colours, fonts, telling the audience what is included in my radio advertisement, using similar colours on the poster as I have used on the front cover and second page of my local newspaper.

Poster.

I believe I created synergy with my poster and local newspaper front cover and second page well. I used the same colour scheme and the same fonts I used in my local newspaper as I have on the front cover of my newspaper. I also I used someone young to photograph for the poster as I thought this would appeal more towards my target audience. I also added the twitter and app for smartphone addresses, which are included in the local newspaper.

Here is a diagram how I used synergy with
my poster and the front cover of my newspaper.

Radio Advertisement

It was difficult creating synergy between a radio advertisement and my local newspaper as it is not visual, but I feel I accomplished it well. I included topics in radio advertisement which are also included in my local newspaper. I also made the radio advertisement a conversation between a young boy and a woman, which also creates synergy as I used young characters which will appeal to a young audience listening.

Script I made for my radio advertisement.
